Head above the buttercups
キンポウゲから頭を出して

Walking by the stream
小川のそばを歩いている

Down among the buttercups
キンポウゲの中を

 

Where is Anne?

Walking with her man
男の子と歩いている

Lost in a dream
夢見心地で

Lost among the buttercups
キンポウゲの中に見えなくなったり

 

What has she got in that little brown head?
彼女の小さな茶色の頭の中で何を考えているの？

Wonderful thoughts which can never be said
言葉には出さない素敵な考えだろうね？

What has she got in that firm little fist of hers?
彼女の手でしっかり何を持っているの？

Somebody’s thumb and it feels like Christopher’s
誰かの親指かな？　クリストファーの親指みたいだ

Close to her man
男の子のそば

Brown head, gold head
